Hi all, I was looking through the German part of the forum and came across a W with a different tank on it that looks very cool and very Cafe. The owners name was listed as "wastl schels" and I was hoping someone could ask him/her what kind of tank it is and was it difficult to fit on the W. I found it under "Eure ersten W-Fotos, oder Kauf schon jemand bereut?" page 6 Thanks, fatstring
I had seen this tank before but not this picture, it is very nice indeed. What I never noticed before is the rear-sets. They look like Raasks ? But they seem to be fitted very much to the rear, at least further than a Raask set would normally have been fitted.
Is that correct, Raasks but fitted further to the rear ?
Hi WILFRID. Are You descending from a German Family, in former times ?? Because of Your first name.

Maybe,he read the book (or was the movie existent at that time?) "Witness for the Prosecution" (Marlene Dietrich) from Agatha Christie - with the lawyer Sir Wilfrid (Charles Laughton) in a major part, during your mothers pregnancy...
Life is pretty boring when you take yourself too seriously!
May be, he's gone with the answer, but Wilfrid has always been used in France, never a lot but steadily, Wilfried too but less frequently, La perfide Albion maybe Hope the weather is not too bad up there, I used to have a look on arte channel but I don't have a tv set anymore, here there is a very strong wind, the mistral, blowing. I couldn't go very fast today, enjoy your rides anyway. Wilfrid from Avignon
