There are some details as the missing central stand and the little ruber thing to protect the engine that make me think you could have. I was wondering when the next W meeting may be as I would like to attend. Am I right in thinking you guys have meetings in Europe?
The W has not been used as a scrambler. My plans are to put on a lot fo aprts I have purchased from my visits to Japan. I have new hubs to build different size wheels and I am looking to make the W more retro looking than Cafe Racer etc.,
I do have the central stand and will replace it after I have fitted the new exhausts.

Hi, Aren't you English and isn't England part of Europe? Well Germans have a lot of meeting and a big one each year, they drive a lot the little devils, in France we had our first national meeting in the beginning of july. I will advertize the next one here, so have a look from time to time. We may try to organize an European meeting, that means between French and Germans, so no English (joking!), same keep aware on this part of the German forum, send pictures of your W when over, I saw some Japanese transformation the way you seem to want to do. Fromp the photos your W has a 99/2000 models saddle, and the wheels seem genuine, too lazy to check the size of mine. Do the English W site still work? You will get a lot of informations there.
