Hi all, I'm Giacomo from Italy, W650 enthusiastic rider (aka WER, in Italy ;)) and I'm writing here since I met mr w-paule in the W650 French Forum. In that forum I proposed to organize an European Meeting, a W-party in the EU. In Italy we are not so many, but very crazy for the bike, and we know that in Germany and France there are a lot of WERs to meet. Maybe there are some other WER groups in other countries?
On our web site we have just began to discuss about this dream, an European Meeting, and in France too:

hi steve, at the moment there is not any defined, I've just launched the idea. In the meantime, french WERs are organising a meeting in the 'Jura' region, for the next June 2009, near the Schweitz, and pheraps we could aggregate to them
Please try to enjoy the British W-Riders also to take part of it (as I tried it some years ago). By posting within Dick's Forum I started to get any connections to the British Scene.
But that doesn't function.
Maybe that the time was working for a new beginning.
And maybe there will be a European Meeting (with some Hundreds of members) from all over Europe.
Our next french meeting is in Jura, last week-end of june, no need to say that it can become an European one, just need a little bit of organisation... Yet it is too early to consider it. I'll be glad to see you ursula and le général and all german and italian wistes that could come. Wait and see...
Hi Wilfrid, are you sure that is not a german meeting, in the picture ? as I wrote on your web site (the french one) the men are too orderly, and it's tipical deutch, not french ! see you in jura, maybe are you organizing your meeting for the national music party (21 juin) ?? I'll try to come with some other Italian W :)
definitly as I am on the picture and I can't speak d german (unhappily) the wistade is last week-end of june, 27, 28 so that people can come before summer hollidays, it's the most convenient date we found, should be in a "camping motard"...
great! my compliments for your photo ;) on yesterday we had a little italian meeting. we were 5 W.. it's the italian record , at the moment. I don't know why, in Italy if the bike is not very powerful it is not sold.. so, there is not a large number of WER .. I'll wait for the date confirmation on your web site, but I'm already there with my thought. If there is something I could do for help you, please let me know.
