Is it better to change brake/clutch wires to LOW type?
My new handle bar is a little bit higher than original low type.(POSH touring bar)
My shop couldn't answer it.

It is better because it will look nicer, but it is not necessary.

I run my bike with clip-ons and the original cables. I re-routed the cables in order to hide them as much as possible and that works ok.

I changed from the UPtype to an M-Bar.
The wire-length was perfect, because I layed them to the other side of the headlight.

In your case, just take care of the curve of the wire.
If it's not to small, you can keep the old wires.

Otherwise, if they don't work smooth and easily, you have to change them.

I made a similar change some time ago, and the brake hose looked about the same as yours. That's why I decided to replace it by a "Steelflex" hose. (sorry, havn't got a picture yet). It does not only improve the looks, but the feeling is much better: Allway a precise and hard triggerpoint and no longer any rubbery feeling.

do those Steelflex have a genuine latex lining?

In fact it's a high quality hydraulic hose. Innermost is a thin rubber hose to keep the thing tight. Around is texture of woven steel wires, finally covered with a transparent plastic layer to prevent scratching. The ends (nipples) are made of aluminium.

I will post some pictures. Please be patient, I have it somewhat hectic at the moment. For the same reason this answer is so belated. Sorry.
